The challenge
The herringbone lines required careful setting-out through the open-plan rooms, around the kitchen island and fireplace, and along the narrower hallway so the pattern remained balanced between adjoining spaces.
The work
Alpine Woods Flooring installed the engineered European oak blocks in a herringbone layout through the living area, kitchen and hallway, completing the pattern around cabinetry, walls, doorways and the fireplace zone.
The outcome
The finished herringbone pattern adds a consistent geometric direction across the open-plan interior while the natural AB-grade oak complements the dark cabinetry and pale stone finishes.
