Confirmed information for this completed flooring project.
The project required a pale natural oak floor across the main residential spaces, with Avoca Bay engineered boards continuing through the open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas and into the study, hallways and entry.
The installation needed a consistent board direction and straight-plank rhythm across large connected rooms. Setout and finishing also had to resolve neatly around the kitchen island, full-height glazing, doorway transitions and curved glass partitions.
Alpine Woods Flooring installed Avoca Bay engineered oak boards using a direct-stick full glue-down method. The 2200 × 240 × 15 mm boards were laid in a straight-plank format through the living, dining, kitchen, study, hallway and entry spaces.
The completed floor provides a continuous natural oak surface across the Kew residence. Its light tone, Natural-grade variation and brushed finish complement the bright interior, extensive glazing and warm timber joinery visible throughout the home.
