Product overview
Published product details, performance information and installation guidance.
This solid European oak profile is designed for chevron floors where the geometry and the edge detail are intended to remain clearly visible. Each 710 × 123 × 18 mm piece is Select (AB) grade and has a pronounced 3 mm bevel that separates the runs of the pattern. Unlike a pre-coloured catalogue floor, the final brown finish and site detailing must be confirmed as part of the individual project specification. Solid chevron installation requires accurate control lines, a flat and stable substrate, full adhesive transfer and careful perimeter and transition planning. Direct-stick is the confirmed method. No water-resistance or underfloor-heating claim is made for this product, and the complete finish, moisture and installation system must be agreed before ordering. The linked Balwyn North case study documents this exact format through the entrance, hallways, living areas and a curved upper landing, together with coordinated stair detailing. It provides evidence of the bevel definition, pattern continuity and level of site planning required for a complex solid-timber installation.
