Product overview

Published product details, performance information and installation guidance.

Laminate Winter Hush 12mm presents a deep grey-brown timber visual with restrained grain contrast and a super-matte appearance. The colour should be checked against a current physical sample in the intended room because screen reproduction and lighting can change how the finished floor reads. Each plank is 2240 × 195 × 12 mm with a Super Matte surface, four-sided micro bevel, moderate pattern variation, an AC4 commercial-grade wear rating and an Angle-to-Angle click joint. A carton contains five full-length boards, covers 2.184 m² and weighs 23 kg. Published limited warranty terms list 30 years for residential use and 8 years for eligible commercial use. Installation is floating only over suitable underlay; the boards must not be direct-stuck, nailed, screwed or fixed to the subfloor. 96-hour Moisture Guard provides household water resistance, but the floor is not waterproof: clean spills promptly and do not install it in bathrooms, laundries, toilets, saunas or other wet areas. Current technical and installation sheets list hydronic heated slabs as compatible, while the current warranty excludes floor-heating installations, so written project confirmation is required before specification. Manufacturer-declared E0 low-emission rating and steam mop compatibility. Subject to the manufacturer's installation, care and warranty conditions.

Product notes

Floating installation only over suitable underlay; do not direct-stick, nail, screw or glue the boards to the subfloor. Allow a 10-12 mm perimeter expansion gap (15-20 mm in high-humidity regions) and follow the current 16 x 10 m maximum raft, moisture-barrier and substrate requirements. Up to 96 hours of household moisture resistance is not waterproofing; clean spills promptly and exclude bathrooms, laundries, toilets, saunas and other wet areas. Technical and installation sheets list hydronic heated slab compatibility, but the current warranty excludes floor-heating installations; obtain written confirmation for the project before purchase. Steam mop care: use a suitable pad on a low power setting, no more than once a fortnight; never remain in one spot for more than 30 seconds. Follow the steam mop manufacturer's instructions and wipe away moisture after cleaning.
